Hilton Head Invitational

Madison had her first USA Level 7 meet in Hilton Head this past weekend. She has had an amazing year in gymnastics- she jumped from Pre-op over to USA and has jumped 3 levels since. Level 7 is basically entry level optionals- but it's entry level to the "big boys" so to speak. She is doing some rather impressive moves that are making my hair turn a bit more gray. I love to watch.... through the slits in my fingers....

I am going to try to post the videos of her bar and floor routines. She scored a whopping 9.525 on bars-- it was a personal best and it took first place by a landslide! She scored 9.1 on floor, which was close to her personal best, but it only took 3rd place. In any case, she took 3rd All-Around (and would have tied for first if it weren't for that pesky little fall on beam....)

We are very proud of her!
